Digital Twins enable central Industry 4.0 use cases, such as changeable production and an efficient lot size one. However, what do they need to look like? Our Industry 4.0 expert Frank Schnicke (www.linkedin.com/in/frank-schnicke) showcased his research on this topic at the SASI 4 workshop co-located with ECSA 2020. Using two central use cases, he presents the minimum set of data that needs to be contained in Digital Twins to enable service-based production.
