I was aware of this band for awhile but didn't know the absolute monster player Jared Smith joined this band awhile back. In this video, I take on "Drone Corpse Aviator" from the latest Archspire record "Bleed the Future" and witness an absolute rampage of precision, technicality, and an absolute masterclass on many bass techniques such as two-handed tapping, double-thump, three-finger plucking, and more. I breakdown Jared's bass tapping parts, tips on executing them, his use of the floating-thumb technique, fast plucking, and more. I didn't want this video to end!!! Lastly, his Dingwall 6-string sounds MONSTROUS! 🥵
