Once a month, we assemble a cross-section of images and a video from guides and guests as a raw look at what everyone was seeing. It is an immediate, unfiltered look, so you have a representation of a typical month.
This month, it has been almost impossible to restrict the selection to a few minutes because so much has been going on.
Standouts for me include the lioness investigating a large crocodile on the riverbank near Tembo Plains and new cheetah cubs around Mara Plains.
With just a small nudge from our ReWilding project, Tembo Plains wildlife has come up to exciting levels, with elephants calmly moving around camp and guests as they view our vehicles and boats. It is becoming one of the most productive locations with all the rewards of Mana Pools but in private, on a quarter of a million acres of land. The space for wildlife to move across, unmolested here, makes for wild places and excellent wildlife viewing. We are planning more relocations in 2025.
From the rare (pangolins at Duba Plains) to the wonderous (mating leopards at Selinda Camp) and curious (a water monitor lizard visiting our boats), there is always something going on.
November is often considered a month to be at home or with family at Thanksgiving, not on safari. But with wildlife viewing at such high levels at our Great Plains safari camps now, Thanksgiving on safari may be a great option in the future.
We can make it feel like home; our chefs are ready to spoil you, and you will not need to do dishes!
