Emergency Plus Medical Services (E-Plus) is the leading private pre-hospital care and ambulance services provider in the East Africa region; operating on a commercial and corporate social responsibility (CSR) basis in Kenya and Tanzania.

Founded in 2010 with the purchase of five state-of-the-art BLS ambulances equipped to international standards, E-Plus is fully owned by Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS), and Kenya’s largest privately owned ambulance service provider, with an estimated market share of 75%. E-Plus’s core services include: 24 hour ground and air evacuation, Cross-border evacuation, Event coverage (standby ambulance), Long-term contracting for special projects, Field support and escort, Inter-hospital transfers, Home care services, Long distance patient transfer, Paramedic training and certification, Sale of certified first-aid kits, County ambulance service, Air evacuation, eDoc (online medical consultation), and e-Pharmacy.

E-Plus’s membership packages are available to meet the needs of Individuals, Families, Residential, Corporate, Public Service Vehicle, and Learning Institutions. Benefits include:

• and transfer to the nearest hospital of your choice.

E-Plus has recently launched the eDoc platform, providing virtual medical consultations to patients, and its e-Pharmacy service, which provides delivery of prescriptions directly to patients. E-plus has also expanded its full operations in the Republic of Tanzania.
