With increasing encroachment into natural habitats of wild animals and birds by humans, a lot of species are forced to move into areas that are not suited to them. This barn owl had strayed into our part of the city during the daytime and was trying to wait it out until sunset. Unfortunately a few crows rattled by the appearance of the owl tried to chase it. Although frightened, the owl stood its ground and safely took off after nightfall.
