2008’s Iron Man marked the beginning of the modern MCU movie franchise. It revived Robert Downey Jr.’s career and set the bar pretty high for Marvel entertainment.
But a big part of MCU’s success was -- and is -- the groundbreaking feats achieved when it came to visual effects. Iron Man’s suit was a thing of beauty in 2008 and even MCU movies like Captain America: The First Avenger did an amazing job in creating “Skinny Steve" via the same type of work.
