Orhan Çelik (1992, Istanbul) Turkish artist & author. He started taking art classes at the age of 13, participating in group exhibitions at 15. In 2013, he graduated from Beykent University, majoring in Radio and Television Communications. Subsequently he completed his internship at Turkey’s national broadcaster TRT. He moved to New York City for a short period of time to obtain further post-graduate education.. He wrote for number of newspapers and magazines, where his columns and interview articles have been published. His first short-short stories book titled The Organic Action was publieshed in 2019.; In the same year, he appeared before the audience with his exhibition titled Dangerous Tendencies which he curated.
 
The most important themes in Orhan Celik paintings are: The Figure, the color & for him a very artistic object, the hat. The artist appears before a society / audience who has forgotten their past with his works titled The Hat Revolution: Because he cares about Ataturk’s Hat Revolution. While the artist tries to create a space by using different elements in his paintings, he is among the contemporaries by referring to the robotic life with these unique, genderless & characteristic figures…

The artist's works are in many private collections.

He works & lives in Istanbul.
