First run with the Remo Hobby 9Emu Racing SCT. Basically a Slash 4x4 clone

Just fitted a new 120amp Spektrum Firma ESC to try.

Zeee 5200MAH 3S 80C lipo - ran about 12-14 mins flat out Hooning

Surpass Hobby 3650 3100KV motor & 20/21T pinion from memory.

Spektrum Firma 120amp 4S ESC - factory settings.

I plan to fit the Spektrum 3670 2400KV motor to match the ESC but need a 5mm shaft 32DP pinion which I didn't have - ordered a set.

Using a Sanwa M17 radio with clone ARX-482R. I have 3 of these and work faultless on either FH3 or 4 but they don't support the newer FH5 or FH5U.

Servo is DSServo red waterproof digital 35KG

How did it run?

Brilliant, maybe a touch overgeared with a motor fan.

Too fast for test area I was in.

Handles superb - responsive in turns and on the straight.

As you saw probably needs more front droop and stiffer springs and maybe rear shock travel restricting to stop the major squat.

I'll be fitting sway bars (anti roll bars) as defo needed. I'll probably go hard front and medium rear.

Just need to order a spring set as other parts ordered.

I will be uploading a review of the 120amp firma combo and will add a longer video driving as soon as final mods done.
