Montmartre is the neighbourhood of artists; it's a very charming and picturesque place in Paris.

In the past there were a lot of windmills and vineyards, then it became a quarter where artists like Picasso, Van Gogh and Renoir used to live because they could find a cheap place to stay. Today it still conserves its narrow streets and the image of a typical Parisian neighbourhood with lots and lots of cafés, squares but also famous monuments such as the Sacre Coeur Church.
