When Kristen contacted me and told me that she and her fiancé Sam were planning a surprise wedding, I was immediately excited. They had invited everybody to their engagement party but then announced that they were actually getting married. The wedding was held at Kristen's parent's property in Tooradin and everybody did a fantastic job transforming it into a wonderful rustic wedding venue.
The week leading up to the wedding Melbourne went through an extreme heat wave and so the poor bride and groom (plus everybody who helped) had to carry straw bales and prepare the property for the reception in over 40 degrees heat!
Luckily it had cooled down by the time Saturday came and the weather was absolutely perfect for the outdoor wedding. All the effort was worth it and they pulled off the surprise wedding perfectly. I have never seen a bride so excited before the first kiss, it was fantastic!
Sam & Kristen are a beautiful couple and the love they have for each other extends to all their friends and families which was obvious throughout the day.
And what a day it was!!!! I feel so honoured that Ruffit Media could be a part of it!
