The Mk1 Volvo XC90 has a few design flaws, but one of the more common ones is the tailgate handle. It tends to lose its 'spring', or simply get stuck in the closed position.

You can replace these, but the design flaw will still be there. This mod helps prevent the issue reoccurring and - if you already have tools - can cost less than £4 to fix!
