MOVIE - SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE
FACT/S - In the comics, Pavitr Prabhakar is an impoverished boy who comes to Mumbai to study after his parents die. He lives with his aunt Maya and his uncle Bheem. The villain being Nalin Oberoi instead of Norman Osborn, and his girlfriend being Meera Jain, although in the movie it is Gayathri. This boy who was often bullied and chased by everyone in the new city except by Meera Jain, was not bitten by a Spider, rather was given the abilities of a spider by a legendary Yogi. Nalin Oberoi while carrying out some ancient shady rituals gets possessed and opens the door to some powerful and dangerous demons, which almost gets him to destroy this world. Pavitr is hence the chosen one to fight these demons. Meanwhile, he sees a woman getting mugged by few men and does nothing. His uncle Bhim happens to save the woman, getting stabbed and killed in the process just like the other versions.
This was conceptualized by Indian director Satyajit Ray, who had once met Stan Lee in New York to discuss creating an Indian version of the superhero.
Oh, and by the way Harry Osborn is Hari Oberoi.
