The Volvo EX30 is a compact crossover SUV with good range, loads of power, great tech and reasonable levels of space. It has a 64kWh usable battery for a WLTP range of around 470km, but we thing a figure of 350-380km is more realistic in the real world.

The EX30 is very good value for money as it maintains much of the quality demanded by the Volvo badge but at a relatively affordable price tag.

We tried it out over a week, testing it out in different scenarios such as motorway trips, the school run, and pottering about town. We wanted to know about range, power, tech, space in the boot, and see if the EX30 lived up to the hype!
