Ignacio Zuloaga (1870–1945) was a prominent Spanish painter known for his striking depictions of Spanish life, landscapes, and figures. Born on July 26, 1870, in Eibar, in the Basque region of Spain, Zuloaga hailed from a family with deep artistic roots. His father, Plácido Zuloaga, was a renowned metalworker, and his uncle, Daniel Zuloaga, was a famous ceramicist. Growing up in such a culturally rich environment, young Ignacio was exposed to art from an early age, which undoubtedly influenced his future career.
