How will robots affect auto production in the future? In 1983, CBC's Take 30 takes a look at the issue of how robots will change the way cars are made in the future -- and how that will affect the people involved in building them.

Included in this clip are interviews with James Achmatowicz, who was then the director of manufacturing engineering at GM’s plant in Oshawa, Ont., and Ron Pellerin, who was then the local plant chairman for UAW Local 1520.
