College of DuPage Alumnus David Kirk has proved what hard work and determination can do when he followed his dreams to become part of an INDYCAR pit crew. Starting while he was still a student at COD, David made contact with Dale Coyne (pronounced "Coin") Racing through one of his instructors. After a few meetings and proving his wealth of knowledge gained from his classes, he was hired on as a rear end mechanic and officially as a member of their professional pit crew.
