Sold off my DRZ400S and got a Beta500 RR-S. This is my first ride since getting it home from the dealer. An easy ride around Lake Massabesic.
Some of the key upgrades this bike has over the DRZ is it's about 80lbs lighter. About 15 more horse power. A 6th gear instead of 5. And superb suspension. I ordered it with heavier springs for my weight, upgraded LED headlight, skid plate, rear brake disk armor, comfort seat, and an oversized 4 gallon tank for more range on my planned Dual Sport adventures.
The trade off with the Beta; is that it needs an oil change about every 1000 miles or less, but I was doing that with the DRZ anyways.
