Sonata C.2 in A minor, by Domenico Cimarosa.

To me, this little piece suggests the conversation between two characters: one shy, the other extroverted. I chose to use very contrasting registrations (buff stop for the upper keyboard, and 8+4 in the lower) to represent each.

This recording is dedicated to Lidia Mazzieri, who was my piano teacher and first chose this piece for me, long, long ago. She's no longer with us, but always in my memory.
