Hello Everyone! Welcome to this new walking tour video. We are here at Naga City People's Market located in Naga City, Cebu, Philippines.
Naga is a 3rd class city in the province of Cebu. The city is famous for picture-perfect peaks, rolling hills, and a gorgeous boardwalk.
Dagitab Festival was declared as the official cultural festival name of the City of Naga, in consideration of the following: a.) The City of Naga's Annual Festival of Lights which starts on December 8 simultaneous with the Feast of the Immaculada Concepcion and goes throughout the Christmas season.
Going back to the market, it has two locations; the people's market and the bagsakan. People's Market is a two-story building where wet goods are displayed such as meat, and fish as well as sari-sari stores that sell grains, ingredients for cooking, and other home essentials. Carenderias are also on the ground floor while RTWs can be found on the second floor, though not included in this video, for it was too early and stalls are still closed. Just a few meters away across the river is the Bagsakan area, where fruits and vegetables are being sold. Kakanin like puto is also being diplayed and just beside the structure, there are also carenderias that cater to their hungry customers.
