Salmon Rice Cooker Meal
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Japanese short-grain rice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 lb salmon
- 1 1/2 cups edamame (peeled)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs
Instructions:
1. Start by washing your rice and adding it to the rice cooker along with 2 cups of water.
2. Add the soy sauce and sesame oil to infuse the rice with rich flavors.
3. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then slice it into thirds. Place the salmon slices and edamame into the rice cooker.
4. Let everything cook in the rice cooker as you normally would for regular rice. Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a bowl.
5. Once the rice cooker finishes cooking, quickly open it and pour in the beaten eggs. Close the lid and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
6. Open the rice cooker, mix the contents gently, and serve.
