The Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane offers two possible telescopic boom lengths - 54 meters and 80 meters. However, the complete 80 meter telescopic boom cannot be transported on the crane with an axle load of 12 t. In order to comply with this legal limit, the telescopic extensions 3 to 5 are transported on a separate trailer. Using the newly developed self-assembly device, the telescopic parts can be assembled /disassembled quickly and easily without an additional auxiliary crane.

Optional accessories are required for self-assembly of the telescopic extensions 3-5.
