The post-holiday slog came to a smashing end when Chicago's Sincere Engineer took the stage for a sold-out show at Chicago's premier venue for pop-punk, The Bottom Lounge.

Deanna Belos, the Sincere Engineer herself, distinguishes herself from other musical acts with her signature commanding and air-tearing voice, which spans the range from soft and melodic to aggressive and firm.

Once the Engineering began, there was rarely a break in the action, as the four-piece band masterfully powered through their setlist and kept the hundreds of Bottom Lounge attendees moving and singing along. After the crowd was sufficiently warmed up, Belos and company dropped their top track on them!
