To Make Aloo Bhuna
Oil - 3 Tbsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
Ginger Garlic & Green Chilli Paste - 2 Tsp
Onion - 3 Nos
Tomato Puree
Water - 1/4 Cup
Curd Mixture
Butter - 2 Cubes
Onion - 1 No.
Capsicum - 1 No.
Potato - 3 Nos
Coriander Leaves
Method
1.For the curd masala mixture, take 4 tbsp of curd to a bowl, and add ½ tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp red chilli powder, one tsp cumin powder, two tsp coriander powder, one tsp garam masala powder, one tsp pepper powder, one tsp salt and one tbsp. kasoori methi leaves and mix well.
2. Add water and mix well if required.
3. To a kadai, add five tbsp. of oil, add one tsp of cumin seeds, two tsp of green chili, ginger, garlic paste.
4. Add three onions finely chopped and sauté it till you get a golden color.
5. Add puree of four tomatoes and cook it till the oil separates.
6. Keep the flame on low, pour the curd mixture and mix well. Add quarter cup of water, mix it well, close the kadai and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
7. To a small pan, add two cubes of butter, one large onion thinly sliced, one medium capsicum thinly sliced, three large potatoes, boiled and cut into pieces and mix together. Stir fry them for 5 minutes.
8. Drop the onion, capsicum, potatoes into the onion tomato mixture and mix well.
9. Add quarter cup of water, mix and close the kadai and cook for 3 minutes.
10. Add the chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with Roti or chapati of your choice.
