Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the outgoing director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, reflected on the difficult days of the pandemic during an interview with the Associated Press. Earlier this year, Walensky announced she would resign from her position after more than two years. Her last day is June 30, after which she’ll be succeeded by Mandy Cohen.
