Most people come to Juneau through the Alaska Cruise lines, however, in order to truly experience Juneau, I highly recommend flying in and spending a few days here.
Juneau is a small town located just a few hours from Seattle and can be accessed via flights or more commonly the cruise lines. However, with the cruise lines, you may only spend one day in Juneau, which is not enough to truly really experience all of what Juneau has to offer.

One of the common activities that people come to visit when visiting Juneau is Mendenhall Glacier. Mendenhall glacier is the hallmark of Juneau. There are a couple of hiking trails within the visitor center that everyone can participate in and do.
The most common hike at Mendenhall glacier is Nugget Falls. It is a 2-mile round trip hike that takes you to Nugget Falls.
