On June 27th, regional community members gathered with the staff and board members of the Southern Illinois Community Foundation to celebrate their move to a new location in Marion. 2024 Board Chair Deborah Hogg welcomed the attendees and Mayor Michael Absher spoke about the importance of philanthropy in our region. SICF Executive Director Byram Fager thanked the crowd and discussed the fellow community partners that will share the space and their plans for the future. The celebration also reflected SICF's membership within the Carbondale, Herrin, and Marion Chambers of Commerce.
