The new playstation phone app makes it easy to turn off AUTO renew and cancel PS plus or even TURN it on. This can also be great for buying or purchasing pre ordered content! To cancel auto renew on the new playstation phone application, go tot he Playstation Store section, then select the three lines in the upper right side of the screen. Then go to payment methods. When I selected this, my auto renew was already turned on even though, I've turned it off in the past, so you maybe want to double check to make sure you aren't getting charged when your not expecting too.
