A full-floor penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, has been sold for $21 million. The penthouse, located on the 51st floor of the 52-story tower, offers 7,760 square feet of interior space, including four bedrooms, staff quarters, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a great room, a living room, a family room, an expansive kitchen with views, a gym, a home theater, and a den. The penthouse features 13-foot ceilings and offers panoramic 360-degree views of the coastline and downtown Miami. Additionally, it boasts nearly 3,000 square feet of outdoor terraces with a summer kitchen, a private pool, and a private garden.
The penthouse went under contract in November 2015, prior to the tower's completion, and the sale closed in February after the tower received a certificate of occupancy. The buyer, whose identity remains undisclosed, is from the United States. Approximately 80% of the tower's 209 residences have been sold, including all four penthouses. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the developers have completed 112 closings, with many conducted virtually.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Sunny Isles Beach offers Ritz-Carlton services and amenities, including a private club level on the 33rd floor with eight private suites for resident guests, a restaurant and bar, two pool decks, a kids club, a full-service spa, a fitness center, and a wellness center. The tower, which has 250 feet of beach frontage, does not have a Ritz-Carlton-branded hotel on-site. The developers recently announced the successful repayment of a $212 million construction loan from Bank OZK.
