Former US president Donald Trump is recovering after being shot at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, in an incident the FBI has called "an assassination attempt".
Shots rang out as Mr Trump addressed a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The former president was rushed to safety by Secret Service agents after raising his fist as he stood up.
One person in the crowd was killed during the shooting, and two others were critically injured. The suspected gunman, named by the FBI as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was also killed.
