Starting a career in cybersecurity feels impossible, right? There's so much advice out there, too many paths, and how do you know where to start? Some people will tell you that you need a degree, some people will tell you you need a certification, and then there's a different group of people that tell you that the only way to get into cybersecurity is through help desk and through IT. In fact, they'll tell you you'll need at least 5 years of experience before you can even think about cybersecurity because cybersecurity is not a beginner career field. Well, I will tell you that all of that is BS.
