In Yemen, fighting has again flared between Houthi rebels and the Saudi-led coalition, despite calls for a truce. But international pressure on the warring parties to end the conflict and tackle the massive humanitarian crisis is growing. In a few hours, the UN Security Council is due to debate a resolution pushing for an immediate ceasefire. Earlier the two sides had signalled a willingness to halt military operations after more than four years of conflict.
