Today on Booze On The Rocks, we make the Revolver Cocktail. Created by Bob Santer at Bruno's in the early 2000s, it became famous when he moved to Bourbon & Brunch. The flaming of the orange peel drew customers for the spectacle and the flavor. Rob based the Revolver on a Manhattan template, allowing the bourbon to shine without being overpowered by the coffee liqueur. The flamed orange peel gives the nose a slightly smoked odor highlighting all the flavors. Try it out and let me know what you think.

REVOLVER
2 oz/60 ml Bulleit Bourbon
.5 oz/15 ml Coffee Liqueur
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
Method
1. Add all of the ingredients to a stirring glass.
2. Stir with ice until desired dilution and temperature are reached.
3. Pour into a Coupe
4. Flame an orange peel over the coupe.
5. Garnish with the flamed peel.
