The Tri Five Nationals presented by CPP is a must-see event, as it features more than 2,500 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevys of all varieties. Of course, I gravitate to the historic race cars, and old school hot rods, so that's most of what you'll see in this video. This year, I saw more W motors than ever, which is a great surprise because I just love a 409 in a '55 Chevy. I focused a lot of my efforts on the historic Super Stock cars on the property, and was amazed at some of the specs on these cars...mid 11's with a 265 is impressive!
I'm looking forward to doing in depth features on Larry Nelson's 55 Chevy stocker, Ron Snick's 1955 Chevy convertible gasser and the absolutely stunning 1957 Corvette "Air Box" car, which has SERIOUS racing history. But for now, enjoy the highlights and stay tuned for more!
