Madhumati Express:
Madhumati Express (Train Number- 755/756) is a popular inter-city train of western region operated under Bangladesh Railway. The train runs from Rajshahi, the headquarters of Bangladesh Railway Western Region and a major city in North Bengal, Bangladesh, to the capital Dhaka via Banga and Padma Bridges. It was inaugurated on 15 August 2003 on the then Rajshahi-Gowaland Ghat route. Which was subsequently extended from October 30, 2020 by changing the route to Banga railway station. Later on 1 December 2023 it was extended to Dhaka. It debuted as the fifth train on the Rajshahi - Dhaka route. Currently the train is plying between Rajshahi and Dhaka via Padma Bridge with "PT Inca 2016" imported from Indonesia.
