Located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, Whitehaven Beach is one of the world's most unspoiled and beautiful beaches, and was voted #1 Best of the Best Beaches in the World in the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards 2021.

We took a day tour on Camira from Airlie Beach, through the Whitsunday Islands. It was overcast but warm. We snorkeled and saw fish, jellyfish (hence the stinger suits), stingrays, and lemon sharks. It truly lives up to its reputation and belongs on everyone's bucket list.
