We took the new 'Accelerate' demo car (until the Mazda Mx5 is complete!) Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7 for it's first drive! With some insane Turbo noises, amazing flutter sounds from the filter and some exhaust popping.
The Evo 7 was released in 2001 with some big changes from the previous model. These were not released to the US market but 2 fast 2 furious manged to get their hands on some for Paul Walkers character, Brian, as the Hero car. A lot of people mistake this for the Evo 8!!!
We try to discover why the Evo 7 is hated by some. With such big shoes to fill after the legendary Evo 5 & 6 rally cars, does the new generation 7,8 & 9 live up the the expectations?
Join us as we push the limits of the AWD/4WD beast and try to see if the hate that the Evolution 7 receives is justified and why it is known as the "unwanted one".
