At Johnson Oral Facial Surgery, we focus on complex oral and facial reconstruction cases. This was a patient that had failing implants and significant bone loss in her maxilla (top jaw). She had already had bilateral sinus lifts by another surgeon and that failed as well. She was told by other doctors that there were not any other options for her and she had to start wearing conventional dentures. We were able to place zygoma and ptergyoid implants in order to get her back into a prosthesis that was aesthetic, functional, and low profile.
