The Max Mara Spring Summer 2022 fashion show transports us into the world of writer Françoise Sagan and that summer in the 1950s when, as a rebellious teenager, she was forced to give up the traditional family holiday to stay home and study.

Deprived of those summer months at the beach house, she went there with her mind and her summer imagination materialized in the literary masterpiece "Bonjour Tristesse".

Max Mara constructs the sartorial figure of the story's protagonist, a Cécile de nos jours: the bourgeois rebel.
