The sun rises the Sunday after the Sabbath. The women return with spices they had prepared. But when they get close, they see the rock has been moved.

Jesus's body is gone. The linens He was wrapped in still lay there, though. Two angels appear and the women bow. They ask why the women look for someone living in the place of the dead. The angels state that Jesus has risen.
