Hi all,
It's really a pain in ass when the Mufan solenoid regulator still giving out Co2 bubbles after the electricity is cut off, and there is no warranty given! Oh no..
However, don't worry, don't panicked. All this can be solved, it's very simple steps to follow. Before your proceed, ensure you have purged all Co2 gas out from your regulator before detaching it, else it will be real difficult to detach the regulator from Co2 cylinder due to the pressure lock inside.
This tutorial video is from us - Shrimpoly team, and will guide you steps by steps on how to solve the issue mentioned. We illustrate steps(for detailed guides, refer the video) in short as below:
1) unscrew the nut that is locking the solenoid (black box thingy).
2) remove the solenoid.
3) uninstall the steel rod using spanar set, and remove the steel rod
4) Now you can see a hole beneath the regulator body. Using a pressure gas equipment/soft small brush, clean the holes thoroughly. Sometimes dust/small particles/grease residues left over in the hole, it will result in such issue happening.
5) Install back the steel rod, using spanar set tighten to perfect position. Over tightening it may spoil the elasticity of the oring.
6) Install back your solenoid(black box thingy).
7) Using spanar set, install back the nut and tighten to perfect position. Over tightening it may spoil the threadlines.
We hope this simple tutorial video has enlightened you the steps to servicing your Mufan solenoid regulator. No more worries!
