Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Correct Track trailer alignment and lift kit for single axle trailers and RVs. Again, the application for this is single axle trailers and RVs, with double-wide leaf spring suspension. Now newer trucks are being built to ride higher, so that'll mean that your trailer may have to be raised to match that and if the two aren't the same height at the connection point, the nose of your trailer RV's going to ride too high and that'll end up putting too much weight on the rear of your trailer, which could result in poor handling and may eventually even cause damage. This correct track kit here helps to solve that problem by lifting your trailer or RV by either one and a quarter inches or two and a quarter inches, which will provide a nice level towing set up for your taller trucks. The correct track lift is also great for fifth wheel trailers that might have trouble clearing tall pickup bed side rails.
This kit is designed to work with three inch wide by three inch tall hangars or three inch wide wide by five inch tall hangers and also leaf springs up to two inches wide. Basically, this will let you move the axle up to a half inch forward or a half inch rearward for proper alignment and it does adjust in quarter inch increments. This kit will correct a misaligned axle and lift the trailer for level towing, which will help improve the life of your tires and creates a more stable ride. Does provide extra clearance so you can tow with your taller lifted vehicle. And this kit does work with your existing leaf spring suspension systems.
Basically, the brackets will attach to the hangers and supply new lower mounting points for the springs, which result the taller ride height. And then these alignment correction plates right here, will mount on either side of the hangars to shift axle placement. Does include everything laid out here on the table. We mentioned it includes these four outer hangar alignment adjustment plates. These four inner hangar or inner precision alignment correction plates and then all the hardware you need.
