The site of Evel Knievel's 8 Sept 1974 final stunt, a 1600 ft jump across the 600 ft deep Snake River Canyon at Twin Falls, ID. There was a 160 ft tall super structure built above this earthen ramp and the stunt was supposed to launch Evel to 3000 ft above the canyon rim.
Unfortunately, a parachute malfunction caused the stunt to fail, but Evel Knievel did drift down to the north bank of the river, inside the canyon, sustaining only minor injuries.
