Ahead of COP26 in November 2021, this webinar showcased recent advances in research on sea level rise and coastal climate risks in Bangladesh. Hosted by the Met Office, through the Asia Regional Resilience to a Changing Climate (ARRCC) programme funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and in collaboration with the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), the webinar provided an opportunity to discuss how best to translate and embed new understanding and evidence into planning decisions. The presentations and discussion also aimed to inform the research community and climate service providers on how to improve the communication and integration of new research and science into policy and practice.
