Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Erickson Removable Motorcycle Wheel Chock. Now this wheel chock helps stabilize the front wheel of your motorcycle when it's tied down in your truck bed or trailer. The unit features a really nice, durable steel tubing construction. It's gonna feature a triple-chrome plated finish, so it's gonna be long-lasted as well as corrosion resistant, and it looks really, really good.One of the neat things about this system is it comes with these quick release mounting plants. So the quick release mounting hardware makes it easy to remove and reinstall as needed. So you would mount these to the, let's just say you're installing these in a trailer, you would mount these quick release mounts on the floor of the trailer.

Then when you're ready to use this, you simply place these tabs in the mounts and then you slide this back, and it's going to engage into a locked position. So now it's ready to use.Well if you don't have your motorcycle in your trailer, and you want to haul something else, but this is getting in the way, you can just take this, slide it out of the mounts, and remove it. And then the mounts are the only thing that stay in the trailer. So it's a really nice design. Again, the quick release mounting hardware makes it easy to remove and reinstall as needed.

It's gonna come with a slotted plate to let you slide the chock on and off of the mounted surface. That way you can free up space when this isn't in use. Very simple installation. Comes with all the necessary hardware to get this installed. The bolts have a diameter of a quarter of an inch.Now this is gonna fit tires up to about six inches wide.

When it comes to the overall dimensions, I measured very front to very back and got a measurement of about 11 3/4ths of an inch long. Edge to edge, going this direction, the unit's gonna measure about eight inches wide here at the entry point. And at the back of the unit, the overall width is about 8 1/4 inches, and then overall height is gonna measure about 8 1/2 inches tall. Now the mounting plates, these have a diameter of two inches. Mount holes are separated on center by an inch and a quarter, and the the thickness is a quarter of an inch.That's gonna do it for today's look at the Erickson Removable Motorcycle Wheel Chock..
