Both the devices are updated and not working, then; re-pair the Apple watch and iPhone.

This process resets the Apple Watch to its factory settings,
Don't worry about that, because iPhone take backup off your apple watch first then erase.

To Unpair, On your iPhone, open the Watch app, go to My Watch Tab and Tap on All Watches. Tap the info button next to the watch you want to unpair, then tap Unpair Apple Watch.

Wait for a few minutes until the process complate, and Re-pair again with the Apple watch and iPhone.
