Warm Spring day snow skiing on Stevens Peak. Hwy 88/89 was closed for a few hours in the morning, due to water erosion, which caused our late start. The warm mid-day snow was really wet and loose. I think I slipped and fell at least 5 times while skinning (climbing) up. The snow on the lower half of the trip was covered in pine tree debris (needles, cones, bark, etc.), and also lots of dirt patches. The snow skiing was not the best but still fun. It was an adventure for sure.
Skied with Will and the Wolf Pack (huskies).
Bonus video of the ragging West Fork Caron River.
