As Salaamu Alaykum
Summer is quickly going by and I’m still searching for the Best Kebab in SoCal.
To figure out who makes the best, I’ve come up with a list of 17 things to score.
On today’s menu is this offering from Halaloğlu. It comes with two skewers of a beef, lamb, and veggie mixture called Adana kebab and cost me $18.48
First and most important, these kebabs had flavor. But they lacked meat and crumbled easily. And despite requesting them well done, mine were barely medium.
Bismillah
These kebabs scored a disappointing 9/17 points.
⠀
Until next time.
Peace.
Notes:
Like Day 1, I’m only including Halal (aka 100% Halal) restaurants for my Best Kebab Series. I didn’t give any of the Halal restaurants a heads up about my visit, my Best Kebab Series, nor my rating before publishing.
Halaloğlu provided a verbal statement they only use halal meat. Additionally, the Halal restaurant does not sell alcohol.
