In 1987 Ervin Monroe charmed the crowd at the National Flute Convention when he performed his composition, A Flutist’s Life...a piece that delightfully showcases the great tricks and techniques which dedicated flutists need to master! In 2014 Ervin added limericks to precede each movement and performed them with Joan Sparks (Flute Pro Shop) as the narrator at the Florida Flute Convention.
