VERSE:
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. (PSALM 97:10 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God protects you. He acts as a shield when others try to harm you and protects your life in the midst of terror. Know that God is with you. He will never leave you; He will not abandon you. No matter who abandons you, God will always be with you and give you a clear path to move forward. So don't worry.
Today, "Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked." (Psalm 97:10) God speaks to you. Yes, this is true. God is with His people to protect their lives.
The Lord does two things for His saints. First, He restores your soul. Then he releases you. When does he do it? He will do this only when we hate evil.
We should hate all kinds of evils, distractions and temptations and stop clinging to them. Every day we should pray to the Lord, "Father, keep me holy." That is why the scriptures say, 'He preserves the souls of His saints'. Only when we live holy, the Lord will protect our soul.
Scripture clearly states in Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." Whether the sin is big or small, the sinning soul will die. But if we keep our soul pure, our life will prosper.
This is what we see in 3 John 1:2. "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." "I will seek your soul," says the Lord. "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." says the psalmist (Psalm 23:3). He renews our souls so that God's name may be glorified.
Even today you can say “I have no anointing”. But today the Lord will restore and protect your soul. Only when our soul prospers can we prosper in all things. God does not want even one soul to perish.
The second thing the Lord says is that He will deliver you from the hand of the wicked. We live in a wicked world. As stated in 1 Peter 5:8, the devil prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. People will not like us in this world. They have secretly spread a net for us. That is why David said in Psalm 31:4, “Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength..” He prays.
He promises to deliver you from the hands of the devil and the wicked. People may curse you, but the Lord will uphold you and deliver you. "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.'" (Psalm 35:27).
But David trusted God and clung to Him for protection. Saul entered David's house to follow him and kill him, but God made a way of escape through David's wife. Saul followed David from town to town. The very people who sheltered David betrayed him. However, Saul found David in a cave. God delivered David and put Saul's life in David's hands while he slept. When those who wanted to destroy David could not carry him, it became clear that God's protection was with David.
In the same way, God will save your life, protect you, and make your enemies know that there is a divine presence in your life. He will make them say, "We tried so hard to make you fall; but we could not." The mighty protection of the Lord God will do that. So, beloved, take refuge in the Lord. Take refuge in Him; He will deliver you from the hands of the wicked.
