The IEF hosted the 13th IEA-IEF-OPEC Symposium on Energy Outlooks at its Riyadh headquarters on 15 February 2023. Energy policymakers, companies and analysts gathered to compare outlooks from the IEA and OPEC, and to discuss how governments and industry are expected to re-evaluate policy and investment decisions to keep net-zero climate and sustainable development goals within reach. Participants were invited to discuss if it is possible to reduce costs of transition to protect consumers and broaden prospects for economic growth.
